6-Piece Timo Intake Trumpet Set Weber / FAJS DCOE 45
Set of six Timos Motor push-in intake trumpets for Weber or FAJS 45 DCOE carburettors. The inside is flap-wheel finished, the outside has a brushed finish and each trumpet has a welded mounting tab. The design provides a large, smooth radius, good fit and strong airflow.

Dyno tested
We tested these trumpets on two different 2.3-litre Volvo B230 8-valve folkrace engines during the same day in summer 2020. Both engines used Weber/FAJS 45 carburettors with 40 mm venturis. The carburettors were first optimised with the standard trumpets using a wideband lambda sensor. We then changed only the trumpets.
The Timo trumpets produced a steadier fuel signal and required the carburettors to be jetted again. Above 5000 rpm the dyno graph showed higher torque and power than with the classic Weber/FAJS 45 DCOE trumpets. Both cars showed the same positive tendency.
Weber trumpets: 173.99 hp at 6680 rpm and 213.5 Nm at 5192 rpm, measured from 3000–7500 rpm.
Timo trumpets: 176.26 hp at 6394 rpm and 217.67 Nm at 5344 rpm, measured from 3000–7250 rpm.
Choose the correct version for Weber or FAJS, as the dimensions differ.
