4-Piece Timo Intake Trumpet Set Weber / FAJS DCOE 45

Set of four Timos Motor push-in intake trumpets for Weber or FAJS 45 DCOE carburettors. The mounting tab is silver-brazed, the surface is more highly polished and the design leaves space for a filter base plate. When no base plate is used, fit an M6 washer beneath the mounting tab.

The former black-phosphate finish has been replaced by gas-flame patination followed by an oil bath. This produces several individual finishes, including the Timos Motor Oil Slick design.

Dyno tested

Earlier tests were performed on two different 2.3-litre Volvo B230 8-valve folkrace engines with Weber/FAJS 45 carburettors and 40 mm venturis. After the carburettors had been optimised with the standard trumpets using a wideband lambda sensor, only the trumpets were changed.

The Timo trumpets produced a steadier fuel signal and higher torque and power above 5000 rpm. Both cars showed the same positive tendency.

Weber trumpets: 173.99 hp at 6680 rpm and 213.5 Nm at 5192 rpm.
Timo trumpets: 176.26 hp at 6394 rpm and 217.67 Nm at 5344 rpm.

Choose the correct version for Weber or FAJS, as the dimensions differ.
