Tuning Kit Volvo 940 / 945 LTT

The kit contains an ignition chip, fuel chip and an adjustable wastegate actuator with a stainless mounting plate for selected Volvo 940 / 945 LTT models. A chip-compatible “gold box” ignition ECU is required.

The compatible ignition ECU was fitted as standard mainly to 1995–1996 cars, but a suitable ECU can also be retrofitted. For best results we recommend a less restrictive replacement filter or open cone filter.

Adjustable wastegate actuator

The threaded rod provides an adjustment range of approximately 0.7–1.7 bar and a rod length of 110–145 mm. It replaces the original actuator on Volvo 940 LTT/T models with the 13C turbo. It does not fit early 940 models with a Garrett turbo.

Timos Motor recommends approximately 0.8–0.9 bar for good turbocharger life. Any increase in boost pressure must be verified with the correct fuel, ignition and engine condition.
