Stage 1 Fuel Chip Volvo 940 / 945 Turbo – Rich Fuel Map 6250 RPM

This Stage 1 tuning chip uses a richer fuel map than our standard fuel chip. It is intended for customers running more than approximately 0.8–0.9 bar and fits selected 9xx fuel ECUs in Volvo 940 / 945 LTT models.

The fuel ECU is located behind the trim panel by the passenger footwell. A common first upgrade is to combine the Timo Stage 1 turbo fuel chip with an adjustable wastegate actuator or boost controller. For good turbocharger life we normally recommend approximately 0.8–0.9 bar, although some combinations use more boost with this richer calibration.

Make sure the engine receives sufficient air through a suitable performance filter or modified airbox. For the next step, combine the fuel chip with the matching ignition chip or choose the complete kit with fuel chip, ignition chip and adjustable wastegate actuator.

Always verify fuel mixture, ignition, boost pressure and engine condition when increasing performance.
